Dad is out
My husband is gone for the business trip and will come back on Friday. He misses Shunto sooo much. I think I have busy week with Shunto.
Going to Shiga again
We went to Masatoshi’s mum’s house again today. I woke up a bit late and left at about 20 past 7 in the morning for there. We had traffic jam because of we are in Obon season, everyone has vacation and it took about 5 hours to get there this time! We were really tired.
The weather was not very good and we were tired for driving, we stayed at home all day. Masatoshi’s sister Eiko was also at home and we chatted about a lot of things, the girl talk about guys on TV.
After the dinner, a friend of Masatoshi came to see him. He can’t see his friends often because they live far away from Osaka. This is the first time for his friend to see Shunto. We sent him a new year card with a photo of Shunto but he was surprised Shunto has grown since then. He had no idea Shunto can walk now.
After about a few hours chat, we said goodbye to him and left for Osaka. When mum saw us off, she cried. She really miss her grandson Shunto so much.
We got our house about 11:20pm, this time we didn’t have traffic jam.
Bicycle
Recently, I use the baby stroller when I go out with Shunto, but it is so big that I can’t walk around in the supermarket with it, and I decide to buy baby chair to put to my bicycle. We went to buy it at the shopping center. I put the chair in front, and it is very hard to drive it for me. I have to open my legs wide when I push down the peddals. And I can’t control the handle, I can’t stay still while I am riding. I have to get used to it before I go to the supermarket…
In Shiga
We went to my husband, Masatoshi’s mum’s house in Shiga prefecture. It takes about 2 hours drive from my house in Osaka, but it takes more normaly with traffic jam, especially, in this season such as Obon, everybody takes holidays and driving their parents’ home. So we left early (at 7 in the morning) and we could get there at 10.
Masatoshi’s dad passed away in December 2000, when I was pregnant Shunto, so now she lives with her daughter, Masatoshi’s 8 years younger sister Eiko. She was at work today and came back home aroung 7:30 pm.
Today we went some shopping and bought LEGO for Shunto and some food and drinks. We also went to the Lake Biwa, the biggest lake in Japan. ( Shiga prefecture is famous for this lake Biwa.) This was very first time to see the lake for Shunto and he was a bit afraid and he was all the time in his dad’s arms. And unfortunately, the weather was not good and we had rain sometimes.
We stayed until 9pm and left for our house. We reached our house before 11, we didn’t have traffic jam this time. We will go there again the day after tomorrow and see a friend of Masatoshi from high school and spend more time with Eiko doesn’t have work on that day.
